Finally, the start of summer and we're greeted by grey clouds and moody skies at the awesome Nant Gwtheyrn on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. I had my fingers crossed that Hannah & Rhodri were going to be able to have the outdoor ceremony, that they'd envisaged for months during their planning. I mean, it's one of the most scenic wedding venues in the country for sure! We just needed the Welsh rain to hold off!

Hannah & Rhodri's vision of getting married in view of the beautiful coastline was so important to them as Nant Gwtheyrn is perfectly situated between family and friends that it all made total sense! They had honestly thought of everything, with constructing a triangular archway for their ceremony centrepiece, ribboned seat decorations and perfectly thought out complimentary florals.

The ceremony was so different and defied convention as Hannah & Rhodri decided to walk down the aisle together, hand in hand and stood facing the Irish Sea. These two have very much been the perfect team and their day was to be done their way! There were meaningful and bilingal readings from close friends and one awesome confetti throw - they listened to my advice and bought twice as much!

Hannah & Rhodri are one of the most humble and welcoming couples that I've been lucky enough to meet this year and their attention to detail and hospitality towards their guests was so beautiful to see. It went even as far as seeing them put on aprons and serve desert for their guests themselves - not something that I've seen before!

Guests spent the afternoon playing lawn games, sipping their pints and taking in the special scenery of the North Wales coast. We were all even treated to the most amazing sunset, which set guests up perfectly for the evening party. Such an amazing day!
