It's the beginning of the summer season for me and again, I'm not too far from home - Just down the road in Llanrwst. It might be the start of June but if you remember how hot June was, you can imagine how this wedding went.

The heat aside, Amyleigh & Matthew both wanted the most chillest of weddings - no cringe photos, no group portraits - just everyone having the best time and Hafod Farm was the best spot! Hidden in a valley, surrounded by greenery - Hafod Farms open courtyard let everyone enjoy their beers in the sunshine and the barn provided shelter and a bit of coolness for the very emotional ceremony.

On the whole, Amyleigh and Matthew didn't want all the structure and all the tradition of a normal wedding - they did it their way, which was amazing! They're huge music lovers, so guests were entertained with live music all day and all night - everything from indie anthems, to classic rock. They had decorated the venue in the most beautiful handmade macrame decorations and had given guests handmade leather keyrings as favours - I still have mine. Everything felt so personal and even though Amyleigh & Mathew wanted a chilled day, they had made so much effort in making sure the little details were all taken care of.

I honestly enjoyed this wedding so so much! It's really amazing when couples throw out the traditions they don't want and just put on a day which is truly unique to them - this was the perfect example.

Congratulations Amyleigh & Matthew on the best day!
