You know I love a totally unique wedding day and this one topped the lot for me in 2023. The first message that Georgina & Christian sent me included the words 'Village Hall', 'BYOB' and 'Party' - I was already sold!

After a few months of stress and reorganisation Georgina & Christian finally got their wedding day and WHAT a day. Georgina looked amazing in her satin dress with bell sleeves, which looked beautiful alongside her burnt orange and taupe bouquet of dried florals. She was surrounded by her bridal party who were all ready to party from minute one and were downing shots of lemoncelo, as soon as I arrived - great start.

The ceremony at St Stephen's in Bodfari was incredibly emotional and just perfect in every way - there's really something about church weddings that just hit differently. Everyone had come armed with their umbrellas as, it happened to be one of the wettest days EVER but honestly, it really didn't matter at all. If anything, it made the day feel more intimate and cosy.

After the emotional rollercoaster of the ceremony guests made their way to the local village hall in Trefnant for the most awesomely relaxed wedding party ever. Guests were greeted with a beautifully decorated hall with, bunting, fairy lights, grazing platters, handmade cakes and of course the free booze!

The BYOB and the fact we didn't have to worry about the rigid food timings meant that guests could mingle together freely and properly get into the party mood. We still managed to squeeze in some emotional speeches before the DJ arrived to turn the village hall into disco, where the homemade cocktails really kicked in. The photos hopefully do it justice.

Such a special day with these guys too ...
